Yes indeed, the Pandoras had two indie LP's "It's About Time" and "Stop
Pretending." The latter LP by Paula Pierce (lead vocals, guitar and
songwriting) and three new Pandoras. The rest of the original band went
off under the lead of organist Gwynn (Kelly?), and recorded (as far as
I know) only one single, the A-Side of which appears on some Bomp Records
compilation.

The Paula Pandoras (actually called just "The Pandoras") signed a multi-
album deal with Elektra--something like 7 albums, and should have a new LP
out soon. Gwynn's Pandoras seem to have disappeared... and I think they
split up into a number of different bands.

The original Pandoras also had a number of sides that appeared as singles
or compilation tracks.

Ps. On the origin of LA girl-groups: Anyone know where I can get a copy
of the Bangs (nee Bangles) first single "Getting Out of Hand"?
