Texas (dude)

What is the story with Texas these days? I heard
Scratch Acid's putting something new out...There seems to
something happening there, or at least was at some point.
In fact there has been some seriously TWISTED shit to come
out of there. F'r nstance:
	- Hickoids album - finest hunk of raw T-bone spewage
        - Really Red - great; eclectic or whut?
        - Big Boys - ditto
	- Bands on the Block (side A is mostly REM types,
but side Z has some killer psychosis drool)
	- Cottage Cheese From the Lips of Death - now this
is the TX comp to kill everyone else..features
rabid early Buttholes a la "Suicide" ("I hate my job, I
hate it, I hate the FUCK out of it, how about you?")
as well as appearances by DRI, Sickmen with Rayguns bla bla..
also has some particularly disturbing cover art by none
	  other than Gibby the butt...
	- singles by AK-47, Nervebreakers - what ever happened
	  to these great bands?

I know this only puts a dent in the rusted-out car heap of the
state we call Texas. In fact, the dementia that's steadily growing in
trendy accept-worthyness(i.e. B-holes) has actually been happening there
for some time now, esp. judging from the 8 hrs worth of 60's TX punk slime
that some folks might have been lucky enough to catch on Harvard radio
a couple of weeks ago.

Additions, subtractions, divisions...?
