Owing to major problems with our machine for much of last month
I have missed some of the recent Lovehounds postings, so my apologies
if I now pass on some information which has already appeared.

In the recent readers' poll in Sounds, Kate scored a double success
being voted top female vocalist and also heading the list for female
sex object!

Behind Kate in the vocalist section were Liz Frazer, Siouxsie, Suzanne
Vega, and Annie Lennox. Madonna was runner-up to Kate in the female
sex object category. Best male vocalist was Peter Gabriel, who also
had the best single with Sledgehammer and best promo video for the
same song. PG and Kate's single Don't Give Up came 8th. Hair of the
Hound was voted 10th best retail video. Best British band, best new band
and best LP went to The Mission.

The CD of The Dreaming is now on sale in several of the local (Oxford)
record stores and some of them even have more than one copy so there
still may be one left when I have accumulated enough pennies to purchase it.

May I add my thanks to IED for the excellent Swales interview postings
and could I ask that he repost or Email me Part II as it never reached
my site owing to the aforementioned machine problems.

Re Doug's search for a video PAL - I would be glad to help. Hopefully,
you should receive some email from me; otherwise contact me through
whatever channels you can.
