Subject: Another Kate Bush Review

Not is all rosy for Kate out here in Amherst... Earlier I submitted
a very positive review of "The Whole Story". Here is a writer for
the UMass Daily Paper (the "Collegian" also known as the "Collusion")
who is obviously ignorant as to what Kate's all about...

KATE BUSH
"EXPERIMENTAL (sic) IV"
Are there any artists today worth listening to on the EMI label?
Hey, we've got Sigue Sigue Sputnik, David Bowie, Sheena Easton, Bess
eaton and many other great performers. The only thing about Kate Bush
is her voice, I would pay a lot of money to see her in a performance
of Madame Butterfly but that is about it. Her music (NOW) is horrible,
overproduced migraine causing music. As for her musical ideas (which
I even doubt are her ow) they are just too simply obnoxious. I'm mad
at myself for even wasting my time and yours writing about something
that couldn't possibly annoy me more. For those who do like this
shit, youll love it, but do you know that you replicate the exact
same noise by flipping over the record, putting on the instrumental,
filling up a balloon with helium... well the rest is up to you.
In a nut shell, listening to Kate Bush is like listening to your
mother for the rest of your life.

Well, what do you think?
