Subject: BUT IS IT YOURENEMY?

Sincere thanks to those Love-Hounds who have recently voiced
appreciation of IED's contributions. The majority of the pack
may be annoyed to hear that he is encouraged to continue playing
devil's advo-Kate, should the stimulus to do so prove great enough.

"AND THE PUBLIC ARE WARNED TO STAY HOME!"

The twelve-inch import arrives today -- the one remaining
L.A. area distributor who dares to import big name releases
has finally got hold of the extended version. The CD is
set to come out about the same time as the LP -- ca. November 14.

In addition, one of the British music weeklies has listed
a forthcoming NEW compilation video release in the UK. This
seems unlikely, and superfluous even to IED, since The Single File and
Hair of the Hound cover, between them, just about every official
promotional film Kate has done. The US market could use such
an animal, however.

All of the British music weeklies have now reviewed
"Experiment IV" -- and ALL of the reviews are positive.
This is Kate's lucky year -- lucky, indeed, since the
opinions of the UK critics have never had the least connection
with the quality of the music they review.

>"Experiment IV" is the greatest single piece of music in
> the history of the known universe.

The above statement has been revised, to read as follows:

"'Experiment IV' is the greatest single natural phenomenon in the
history of the universe."
