Subject: Shortwave
People who have a shortwave radio set can listen to a half-hour of John Peel (whom many consider to be England's best DJ) every week on the BBC World Service. The same show is broadcast three times each week, the most convenient time being Monday nights at 11:30 PM (Eastern summer time). In Chicago the best frequencies for reception are usually 5.975 MHz or 6.175 MHz. As a side note, those of you tired of listening to the propaganda broadcast in the American media (brought to you courtesy of the CIA) would do well to listen to the BBC for news (not perfect, but a lot better).
