Subject: the disappearance of love-hounds...

Have they pulled the plug on us? It's been a whole week since I
last received a love-hounds mailing!! I decided to attempt a
post, and see if it reaches me tomorrow...

I got the new Cocteau Twins album. It's very, uh, pretty music.
No percussion. Actually, I think it would be very nice to listen
to late at night when I'm trying to relax and fall asleep. That
is not necessarily an insult.

The Peter Gabriel single, "Sledgehammer" -- in my humble opinion,
it sucks. Peter tries to get down and get fonky. It doesn't work.
Ouch! I think I'll avoid his upcoming album, "SO." (Is that as
in "so what" or "significant other" -- maybe Peter's been reading
net.singles!)

Of course, I am always open to conflicting opinions. Who knows, it
may even grow on me. That happens frequently.

Robyn Hitchcock fans may want to listen to the music of Sheriff Jack.
He's got an EP out called "Let's Be Nonchalant," and it reminds me
of RH in some ways...I like it lots. Anyone else heard of the
Sheriff? The EP is on the British Midnight Music label.
