Golden Palominos

Saw the Golden Palominos last night in SF (I-Beam).  The previous
notes were pretty accurate about the lineup.  (Thanks for the
replies!)  The only addendums I'd make are that the female
synth-player was Linda Hammond and that Jack Bruce is no longer
touring with them.  Michael Stipe and Henry Kaiser showed up near the
end for a couple of songs and one encore.

Pretty good, overall.  Highlights:  "Silver Bullet", "Omaha" (with
Michael Stipe and Henry Kaiser).  Pleasant surprise:  first encore,
a cover of Richard and Linda Thompson's "For Shame of Doing Wrong",
with Syd Straw and Michael Stipe on vocals.
