Martha and the Muffins

At last someone (in fact, somethree) brings up Martha and the Muffins.

Martha and the Muffins are as worthy as Kate Bush. And we all know how
worthy Kate Bush is. Then, how about renaming ourselves--for the sheer
pleasure of changing underware, so to speak--to "paint-by-number-hearts
@mit-eddie"?

...You do realize that this send took extreme courage on my part and that
I only dare submit it with Doug out of the country...

You owe it to yourself to hear these albums. And yes, M+M were great live.
Can anyone out there account for all their personnel changes? They hail from
Toronto--are they still visible (audible) around Toronto these days?

"do you suppose..." that being called "Martha and the Muffins" robbed the
band of prominence on the new music scene? After all, where is the
obligatory anal/phallic/political/medical/randomly-jarring reference?
