I guess you accidentally didn't notice who it was from... But, anyway... I was really pleased to find someone else who thought what I had suspected, that the bearded man was indeed Eddie! It reaffirms my belief in ontology... it also makes it a really outstanding movie, in my opinion! The first time I saw it, I missed that ending, and thought Eddie really had died, and thought it was a cynical commentary on the way the media sensationalizes dead people's lives. Now I see it is really a story filled with hope and direction, not unlike the ending of "The Ninth Wave"! What a relief! What a great movie!
