I haven't quite recovered from the shock of this...

Here I am, sitting in the middle of 4:30 traffic in LA when what do I
hear on the radio?  "Now, on the mighty MET, Kate Bush, with `Running up
that Hill'..."

I can't believe this!!  KMET is one of LA's "kick-ass rock n'roll" stations.

It was also an incredible shock lunging for the dial when RUTH finished after
I was subjected to the first chord of some Van Halen song...   My poor
ears were expecting "Look! Through the trees! It's coming!"

I didn't get back to the station fast enough to see what the DJ had to say
about Kate, though.  All I heard was "... nice to hear that one" and he may
have been talking about the Van Halen gup.  (though I like to think he was
referring to Kate).

I also now know that the radio in my old car is not deserving of Kate.  I
will have to get that new car after all...  This is the first time I have heard
Kate on the radio in 6 years, and the first time in this country.

What's the world coming to... Coke doesn't taste like Coke, RX-7's don't
look like RX-7's, and now Kate on the "mighty MET"...
