No.

I resigned from net.music due to the unkind mail people sent me
after I suggested I liked Kate Bush.  (For that matter, I am
slowly getting mad at most of the newsgroups, except
net.rec.photo, whereas in this mailing list I'm only mad at one
person!)  I am glad Doug posts the things he writes in net.music
here also, or I wouldn't see them.

I think the Usenet is suffering from overpopulation, whereas
this mailing list is just fine... you learn of lots of new music
that usually turns out to be really good, and don't have to wade
through endless discussions of how great "Madonna" is, or how
many versions of "Looy Looy" there are out there.
