A bouzouki is a Greek stringed instrument--other than that, I know not.
(Listen for it in Cat Stevens's "Rubylove" on *Teaser and the Firecat*.)

The end of *Tubular Bells*--hmmm. Depends on which version you listen to.
The album I had ended with the end of the Sailor's Hornpipe. The Mike Oldfield
*Boxed* remix has what is described in the accompanying flyer as the original
ending that they chickened out on issuing with the original album. It has
Vivian Stanshall describing various aspects of the Manor studio while Oldfield
and another fellow go galumphing around the building in which they'd placed
mikes, playing the Sailor's Hornpipe on guitar and mandolin. The flyer says
they did this at an ungodly hour of the morning while blitzed out of their
minds--good grief, people should play so well while sober!

"It has caused...controversy...amongst art historians, and in layman's terms...
is blinking well baffling."
