Uillean Pipes

Also known as union pipes or Northumbrian pipes, these are an Irish wind instrument not unlike Scottish bagpipes, but operated by means of a bellows worked by the player's arm, rather than by mouth. The Uillean pipes are played by Liam O'Flynn on the songs Jig Of Life and Hello Earth, and by Davy Spillane on the songs The Sensual World and Never Be Mine.
