Not only did Mott the Hoople cover 'Lay down' but also Ke - I think he's
American. His is very true to the original. Melanie is one of those artists
that only me liked where-ever I've been. I have been looking for Alexander
Beetle for years, but cannot find a recording anywhere. Other
goodies......'Somebody loves me', 'Christopher Robin' and her 'Lay Lady
Lay' is simply amazing. Good to see I'm not alone........
