just a thought

i was just reading about what everybody had to say about 'the ninth
wave'. or most of it. i think it was just one particular guy but i just
wanted to ask if anybody else had the same thoughts as i did. i thought
that the beginning of 'the ninth wave' had huge references to drugs. in
'and dream of sheep' she talks about poppy seeds(opium) that take her
deeper and deeper. and in 'under ice' about how everything is white and
she's speeding along and her skates are cutting lines in the ice. i
couldn't help but see someone cutting lines with a razor on a mirror.
the rest i couldn't really see anything but i do see a whole drug thing
going on in 'and dream of sheep' and 'under ice'. i hope i'm not alone.
