I can't resist a comment about this continuing thread. To me, what's at
issue here is something that is endemic to our time--namely, the
sloppiness of our language, and the words we use for things. Just what
the hell, exactly, *is* "diversity", anyway?? Pin that one down--even to
within a reasonable range--and we might have a fighting chance at
agreeing on something.
