Well I still haven't found the meaning of the 'T'-symbol with the extra
diagonal line. But this one

would indicate a (light) thunderstorm.

Re: the cost of "Cathy"
I paid 80 UK Pounds (~ DM 185 at that time) for one that was auctioned 
here on the group last year. It really was in mint condition and came
in the original cardboard slipcase. No promotional letter, though.
AFAIK the original price of the book was around 30 Pounds.
