Please, do not send multiple copies of a message to Love-Hounds or
rec.music.gaffa.

Doing so does not increase the odds of your messages appearing.  Doing so
does not make your messages appear any faster.

In fact, the only measurable effect of sending your messages more than once
is that it makes your pseudo-moderator cranky.

Similarly, do not send messages saying "this is a test" or "why are my
messages not showing up".  Such messages will have no effect whatever
because your cranky pseudo-moderator deletes them as soon as he sees them.

Any message sent to Love-Hounds that does not come from a registered
subscriber to the list is held for pseudo-moderator approval.  As your
cranky pseudo-moderator is currently rather busy putting his entire life
into cardboard boxes in preparation for his move to the Netherlands, this
approval takes an average of two to three days.
