As Laura Nyro was an early inspiration and influence for Kate Bush, and Kate was listed in Laura's NY Times obituary (Laura passed away from ovarian cancer at the age of 49, April 9th), I would like to leave all of you Laura's own personal web site address. http://www.LauraNyro.com More will be posted in the future. Many many women singers, songwriters, musicans were inspired and influenced by Laura Nyro, they include, but are not limited to - Ricky Lee Jones, Jane Siberry, Joni Mitchell, Ronee Blakley, Tori Amos, Cris Williamson, Margie Adam, Kate Bush, and on and on and on it goes.
