Hi Phillipi,

Kind of.  This is a discussion group for all things Kate and Kate like. 
Of course the majority of posts are very pro-Kate, so yes, it is a fan
club in that sense, but you will occasionally see someone ragging on
Kate for taking too long between albums, not touring, etc.  A few posts
sing praises to artists that remind someone of Kate in some way, or
concern people and things mentioned in one of Kate's songs.  Some are
well thought out and beautifully written, others are drivel.  

The cool thing that I learned from this group was that I was not the
only person in the world who really appreciated Kates's work, and that
my thoughts and experiences were not unique.  There is a bunch of us
around the world who have been touched by this very special artist.
