Thanks for that perspective.  I confess, that hurt.

In summary, she is a normal person wanting a 
normal life.   In some measure, I 
do know what a disappointed fan looks like.
It's scary as hell.  At my level where the 
audience is still three feet in front of us, 
it is very personal.  At her level where 
the frenzy can kill, it must be devastating.  

Impatience is one aspect of desire.  If one understands 
that, it is ecstasy.  If one thinks all desires 
must be satisfied, it is spiritual poison.  So 
we balance that with the list, with "katemas" 
(i also don't care for deification:  don't rob 
someone of their humanity), with the pages and 
art.  This is the good side of fandom.  Art 
spawning art.  That is the kiss.  If our 
letters give comfort, and in comfort she 
makes more music which we buy, that is the rose.

Have we hurt her that deeply?  If we have, 
then shut down the list, close GaffaWeb, 
take down the KateWorlds, and wait for a record.
