Thanks for the Homeground article--very moving yet sensible.
I for one am always finding something new to enjoy in what
we have so far, and whenever KaTe wants to add to that
enjoyment is fine with me. Meanwhile, the other artists
thread is a good one--put me down for Loreena McKennit,
Happy Rhodes, Eleanor McEvoy, Susan McKeown and the
Chanting House, Katell Keinig, Daniel Lanois, Richard
Shindell, Connie Dover, Mary Black, Laura Love, and Ani DiFranco!

Now, this new digest format has me boggled. It
is apparently only partly compatible with my system, which
"bursts" each message into a long thingie with all kinds of
extra, irrelevant headings like "interoffice memorandum."
This is tolerable, but irritating when there are lots of
of messages. My modem is new and fast, but the software provided
by my employer is very out-dated and can't run the modem but slowly.

Today, I started getting individual messages outside the digest
format. Now, every time I go away for
a couple of days, I will have to turn off love-hounds lest my
e-cup runneth over and bounce.

Anyone know a fix (specifically I am cursed with DEC's
electronic mail module of a never-finished package called
All-in-one. Eudora is my other option, but I would have to
commit to receiving e-mail either at the lab or home, not both,
which I need for my job. In any case, another love-hound,
I think it was Meth, said Eudora isn't compatible with the
new format?).
