In article <32EAA9D3.317C@ou.edu>, jenny <earl1208@ou.edu> writes >so, i bought never for ever on vinyl, and i am very puzzled as to why >night scented stock is listed but not on it. it just goes straight from >infant kiss to army dreamers. "Night Scented Stock" is less than a minute long, has no lyrics, and is faded in from the end of "Infant Kiss". When you hear Kate singing "ah- a-ah-ah" multi-tracked (that's the only way I can describe it) then you are already into NSS. Later she sings lots of "ooh"s multi-tracked, with no backing at all. This is near the end of NSS. The rifle click marks the start of Army Dreamers. The easiest way to discover when IK ends and NSS begins is to obtain the CD and select track 9. (Set the CD counter to "time remaining" and you can see just how short this track is.) All the above presupposes, of course, that you haven't got a strange pressing that actually *does* omit NSS completely! Probably worth something if you have, though..... Julian
