	As well intentioned as this is -- I'm afraid it would be 
just a huge headache for those involved. Kate is unlikely to 
look kindly on a bunch of 10-pound cheques arriving at her door 
announcing the further distribution of material she feels 
unworthy of her.
	Furthermore, in sending such an 'announcement,' the 
taper leaves himself open to legal action: he is still illegally 
copying material that does not belong to him no matter how much 
money he sends Kate. Wouldn't it be better to promise to convert 
an ordinary human into katefandom(tm)? As they buy more Kate 
albums, you've returned your obligation (somewhat) to Kate. Of 
course, I do this anyway...
