I happen to be in a band and am interested in putting together a Web page 
for us.  I know we have a lot of Web experts here and if one or more of 
you would be so kind as to point me in the right direction as far as 
learning http and experimenting around I'd sure appreciate it.  So as not 
to clutter gaffa with off-topic stuff please Email me.

I am a computer engineer and have a lot of programming experience with C, 
C++, etc.,but I've never done any http programming so I just need a nudge 
in the right direction.

Right now the band's Email account is at AOL and I was intending to start 
there since they sort of throw a web page in for free.  Once I get my act 
together I'll probably move to a real provider.

The band's called Lochinvar, if anybody cares.  Anybody who helps me will 
get a free demo tape (home recorded on a Tascam 488, whaddaya want for 
nothing anyway?) if you're interested.
