(I tried to send this earlier and don't think it got through ....) Hi all, There is a lot of tribute programmes on both Irish TV and Radio at the moment due to the 25th anniversary of the death of Sean o Riada who composed Mna na h-Eireann . As a result Kates' track has got the odd airing on the radio .Gay Byrne , our top broadcaster ,played the track on his show but incorrectly said that Kates' parents were from Waterford . One last thing about Mna na h-Eireann, Common Ground did get TV advertising in Ireland and Northern Ireland around the time of release . It featured black and white photos of the artists (including one of the Red Shoes shots of Kate) and a small snippet of Mna na h-Eireann was heard . Sean :-)
