Ecto's a mailing list for the female singer-songwriter-musician
Happy Rhodes, though you don't have to be into Happy's music
(heard of it or even like it) to subscribe.  *Tons* of other
musical artists get talked about there, especially female
artists (including Kate, Jane, Tori, Sarah, Enya & others in
that sphere).

Ecto is...eclectic.

...and named after one of Happy's albums (with a monster on the
cover) and songs (about a ghost).  They're not disgusting though.
They're gracefully eerie and darkly beautiful.

Ecto was born from rec.music.gaffa in 1991. Thank you gaffa!
