WH on TWS

I am a fan of Kate's since the SNL appearance (bought "The Kick Inside"
that week, haven't looked back!) but have never posted to RMG. I'm glad
you're all hear, however.

Here's my question:
On "The Whole Story," I thought the re-recorded vocals of "Wuthering
Heights" sound muddled, faraway. I originally thought I got a bad cassette
of it, but when I got the CD I noticed the same thing! What's the deal?
