well, the apartment is still a mess, but we're forging onwards anyways.
(fortunately, yesterday was wojmas and a personal holiday so i had a 
chance to do things like vacuum and fix the couch and other assorted
useful things which lulled me into the false security that i could sleep
in this morning instead of getting up bright and early like a good 
KaTemas host.)

we've had a few cancellations (sigh), but there are still folks coming
which means i have to go out and buy things like beverages and snacks
now or everyone will starve later.

i finally got a ppp connection for the pc, so we'll be live on irc
throughout the day. i'll also see if i can rig up a way for people to
post stuff to the web as they feel like it, so feel free to poke your
