Hoax Boot or not? Hmmm.....

Hi,

Recently I mailed the list about a Kate bootleg I discovered in my 
local record shop.   It's called 'Kate Bush Live in Germany' and has 
a rather lovely picture of some butterflies on the sleeve.  Emporors, 
I think....but that's not important.

I questioned it's validity as Kate has never actually toured Germany 
to my knowledge and I received some mail from Uli suggesting that it 
may be a boot of TV appearances.    I fail to see the validity of a 
boot of Kate Lip-synching myself and the Boot takes on the mantle of 
a standard cut with an added applause track.....not exactly live!

The tracks on the album were mostly from the first three albums with 
a couple from The Dreaming and Hounds of Love.   Again this struck me 
as odd....surely if she toured Germany in '86, as this boot suggests, 
the set would be mostly from HOL ?

No matter, the final nail in the coffin for me was that one closer 
inspection, each song had THE SAME APPLAUSE TRACK!
Live ?  Yeah, right!

My advice is to ignore it if you see it.....at a tag of nearly 40 
quid it seems like something of a rip-off......

Sorry, Uli, that was a far more scathing report than I intended to 
put out, but I suddenly got annoyed!  :-)
