Yes. First, the KBC confirmed that Kate sings "Emily..." on that
track, so it's definite. (It was the subject of another KBC 
competition.)

The most likely explanation is that Kate is referring to Emily Bronte,
the author of "Wuthering Heights", which had been the subject of Kate's
breakthrough hit earlier that year (1978).
