I'm Fed Up With LoveHounds

I used to subscribe to this newsgroup when I was on CompuServe, and now
that I am on AOL I check in on it now and then -- I'm not sure why. I
dumped it when I was on CompuServe because I got fed up with it. I'm
interested in Kate Bush's music, not in the clashes of petty
personalities. I now subscribe to several newsgroups that deal with other
musicians I'm interested in, and none of them are characterized by the
degree of touchiness and pettiness I encounter in this newsgroup. I deal
with enough flack from friends who find her music weird and screechy
without having to look at what I hope is not a representative sample of
the typical Kate Bush fan on this newsgroup -- pretentious,
overintellectualized, and very, very contentious.
