Yes, it was released by Toshiba EMI in December.
	VHS TOVW-3198 (4,800yen)
	Laserdisc	TOLW-3198 (4,800yen)

Both format accompanies Japanese captions for dialogue parts
and liner notes by Michinari Yamada.
VHS import tapes from US are easily found at stores, priced around 3,200yen.

I've noticed that Japanese version has copyright notice as `(c)1994'
on its package, while US version claims that in 1993.
Does this mean this film was complete in 1993?

I doubt it. When asked Toshiba EMI about the existence
of The Single File laserdisc last summer, there was no laserdisc re-issue.
Anyway, I'm not so knowledgeable about laserdiscs because I don't have
LD player myself, though I own 4 Kate LDs.
