In article <9412221840.AA2181@notes.worldcom.com> you write: >I don't recall seeing this posted already by any gaffans, but in the "Stories" >section of the December issue of Q magazine (the one with Madonna on the >cover), there is a photo of Kate with "Mr. Thumbs Aloft" himself, Paul >McCartney! I was quite pleased to see two of my absolute favorite musicians in >the world in a snap together--it made my day. (Yes I know I'm probably in a >minority in my devotion to Macca, but I can't help it, I love the guy!) Some other Kate/Paul connections: The group video for "Let It Be" done for the Zegrebb (sp?) Ferry Aid Diaster Relief Fund. Mac is the first singer and Kate sings the "...when I find myself in times of trouble, Mother Mary comes to me speaking words of wisdom, let it be.." part. On page 29 of the Fred and Judy Vermoral book "Kate Bush: Biography (Princess of Surburbia)" Kate was photographed with Sir Bob of Geldof and "The Cute Beatle." They are all holding their Daily Mirror British Rock and Pop Awards. Kate won (I believe) for "Best Female Vocalist" and Paul for "Outstanding Music Personality." I can't see Bob's award but it was probably for a Boomtown Rats single. A couple of odd things. Maybe it's just something about Kate, but in both of these photos, Paul has the *dopiest* open-mouthed expression on his face! Maybe it's just something that Kate brings out in him. Also, Kate in heels is almost a full head shorter than the not-tall-at-all Paul. Chris Williams of Chris'n'Vickie of Chicago chrisw@fciad2.bsd.uchicago.edu (his) vickie@njin.rutgers.edu (hers)
