Woah!  Wait, are my eyes deceiving me?  You mean...is it true?  Could it
possibly be true that someone out there besides me actually *LIKES* the
US "Rubberband Girl" video???  Really???  WOW!

<extends hand to shake> Jo, pleased to meet you!  I *love* the US RG
video, but until now, I thought I was all alone.  Though I wouldn't call
the UK RB feeble (it does, after all, work in context of the film), I
do think that, as a music video, the US is *wonderful*.  No, it's not 
high art like, say, the Cloudbusting video, but it sure is nice.  I love
the aura and coloring of it, the scenes from the movie, the dancing, 
the way Kate looks (*love* those sunglasses!) and I love Kate's obvious 
(to me) sense of humor at once again having to make "an American video" 
to please Sony and/or MTV.

As far as the people who don't like it...well, each to their own.  The
one thing I don't understand though, is why anyone would bitch and moan
at another chance to see Kate.  In any form.  Sure it's silly.  SO?  It's 
fun, and it's cute, and it's Kate, and *she's* cute!  People are so
picky nowadays :-).
