hello Gaffa!!

on the train trip to florida (over 25 hours) i was finally able to read all
of the Gaffa digests i've received since i subscribed. i know someone
already mentioned this, but isn't it funny how so many of us de-lurk in the
following manner?:

Albums:
1 The Ninth Wave/Hounds Of Love: i've got massive reasons for this, and
will not bore Gaffans with the whole story unless badgered incessantly.
suffice it to say that it is brilliant!! :)
2 Never For Ever: holy MotherGoddess cover, batman!!! just what *is* that
mountaintop She's standing on??
3/4 The Kick Inside
4/3 The Dreaming
5 The Red Shoes
disappointing at first, but grew on me nevertheless
6 The Sensual World
7 Lionheart

Top 5 songs as of 11.5.94 @ 10:51 pm (in no particular order):

1 Waking the Witch: this song scared the shit out of me the first time i
ever heard it... it's still filling me up with the shivers and quivers each
time i hear it. i guess i take it personally because i'm a Witch.
2 Running Up that Hill
3 Under the Ivy
4 Night Scented Stock
5 And Dream of Sheep
6 Rocket's Tail: yee-hee hee-hee-hee-hee!!!! (who is Rocket, btw?)
7 Deeecember Will Be-hee Ma-ha-ha-gic Agai-nah !!!! :)
8 Ne T'en Fui Pas (la-la la-la...)
9 The Red Shoes (yahoo, yahoo-oo...)
(math never was my strong point..... hee hee!!)

Top 3 videos as of 11.5.94 @ 11:01 pm:

Running Up That Hill
The Sensual World
Suspended in Gaffa..... to see her swirling like a fleshandblood spacestation
in the nightsky brings tears to my eyes each and every time. this was the
first song i ever learned to play on bass guitar (much to my amazement,
having previously and erroneously belived tht i was manually musically
inept). i identify with this song in many ways, not the least of them
being: "Can I have it all now?/I want it all!"

sorry if this text doesn't fall as nicely as it should... words weren't made
for cowards, and AOL wasn't made for word processing.

more to come.....

hey Wayne.... *MMWWWWAAAA!!!* :)
cheers,
Oohlalune
