Dear All,

Here I am back in Coventry with very sore feet following the Fifth
(my first, though) Wuthering Hike. Thanks to Krys, Peter and Dave (of
"Homeground" fame!), I decided to go to Haworth in the West Riding of Yorkshire
on Saturday to visit Top Withins and have a bloody good drink, too, after
meeting with all the Homegrounders! It was great to meet so many people whose
articles and artwork I had seen in the fanzine - roll on Hike VI!
Anyway, those of you who saw my pained expression as I finally reached
the Top Withins farmhouse (now so sadly in ruins) will be very glad to know
that I am as well as could be expected! Thanks also to British Rail for being
so prepared to raise my blood pressure by making my journey back from Sheffield
on Sunday afternoon so difficult. And to everyone who didn't go this time -
try and come along next time, we had a larf!
Hope everyone's feet are better - I'm sure mine will be OK eventually!!

Regards to all,

Steve

P.S. Talk about "making me hike till my legs fall off......."
