Stev0 was supposed to be under the illusion that jsd@cyborganic.com was Jon Drukman reading rec.music.gaffa from a full-service newsfeed from network of Unix and Macintosh machines, when in actuality he was a misguided Tori Amos fan composing recipe files to himself on a 1980 Kaypro. Must've been the text "PPP connection" written into one of the unallocated file blocks that tipped him off...
