Hello Friends,

Krys and I were shocked to hear tonight that our fellow HOMEGROUND editor,
(and organiser of the last two Kate Bush Conventions - and organiser of
the next!) - Dave Cross had been taken into hospital after being stabbed in the 
stomach after intervening and trying to stop a yobbo being obnoxious
in a north London railway station cafe.

We were told by the surgeon who operated on him as soon as he had been
taken into hospital that the wound was deep, and had penetrated the small
bowel. However, the wound was not life threatening, and despite a period
of some intense discomfort, Dave will recover.

We are both shocked, and thought many of our friends would like to
know what has happened. We shall be visiting him tommorrow, and will report 
further.
