It seems to me to be unlikely that someone who wrote `Houdini' would
be taken in by a sham medium.

People by green marker pens to improve their CDs. People buy boxed
sets of Kate Bush when they alredy have half of them, just to get the
nice packaging and the pickies. People waste god knows how much on
`analysis' which has rather less substance behind it than the lesser
pentagram ritual. People are strange. 

Personally, I find it peculiar that people spend money on cars. I
wouldn't call car salesmen _evil_ though.

[ BTW: Faith healing works. Certified, well attested scientific
       fact. Hence the need for double blind trials. ]

I don't want to sound like a raving worshipper of our lady of the
silver tape here, but I am fairly certain that KaTe is bright enough
to know whether whatever services the lady provides are worth the fee.
