I talked to Bill B. in Dr. Wax, Evanston, yesterday.
He said Dr. Wax got posters and pins and a litho to raffle off
for the TRS release date.  I berated him for not advertising,
and wondered aloud why Dr. Wax was chosen rather than, say,
Tower.  He said Columbia knew he was a big fan and that his store
would promote the album (which is true, they have KT stuff up
all over there).  I'm bummed, because had I known, I would have
gone to this (it's a block from where I live).  Oh well, maybe
in 1998.  :-)

They also had posters up about a KT TRS album release party
at some club in Chicago Nov. 27 (the 960 club??).  Call 708-475-8848
for more details.  I will be away then, unfortunately.

I hope to see some fellow love-hounds and ectophiles
at the Kirsty MacColl show this Sat. night at Park West.
Kathy, Holly, and I (no, not the smop holly) will be there
fur shur.
