constellation observation

when The Dreaming came out, it didn't fare that well commercially.
i've seen blame assigned to the "pure pop" trend present at the time -
ABC & other Trevor Horn productions, all of Stock Aitken & Waterman's
garbage... 

it's interesting that Constellation Of The Heart reminds me a *lot* of
ABC, what with the Funky White Guy guitar licks.

ten years behind the times or ten years ahead?  you be the judge, and
as a thought experiment, imagine if The Dreaming were released
today...
