I have a bunch of small items here. 1. There's an ad on the front page of the new Billboard magazine. (Nov. 6.) It says: Kate Bush Her most anticipated album to date. "The Red Shoes" Featuring _Eat The Music_. In-Store November 2nd. Coming soon: Kate's movie,"The Line, The Cross, The Curve," featuring music from "The Red Shoes." Written adn Produced by Kate Bush. COLUMBIA There are also front page ads for Kirsty MacColl and the Cocteau Twins. In this respect, this is probably one of Billboard's best-ever front pages! 2. In Billboard, Kate's only chart appearance remains on the Modern Rock Tracks chart. Here are the last two week's positions: Oct. 30 no. 10 Nov. 6 no. 11 So far, the peak was at no. 10. 3. In the Oct. 29 R & R magazine (Radio and Records), "Eat The Music" is at no. 10 for the fourth week in a row on its New Rock chart. 4. In that same issue of R & R there is a full page ad for "Rubberband Girl". It says it's "The follow-up to the hit _Eat The Music_." 5. _The Red Shoes_ was featured today on the radio station KITS San Francisco as part of New Music Wednesday. They played several tracks from the album throughout the day. 6. All the Tower Records stores I went to have plenty of copies of the album, but I don't think any of them compare with Tower at Mountain View. I estimated that one pile there had at least 250 copies of _The Red Shoes_! Ed ed@wente.llnl.gov
