A friend and I were discussing "Lily" last night (an *amazing* song!) and
the bit of monologue at the beginning.

Said monologue is credited to Lily.  Is Lily perhaps Miranda Richardson's
character in _The Line, The Cross, The Curve_?

If it's not Richardson, who *is* saying that monologue?
