UK charts

Hi,

last week I could praise the British record buyers, but what happened this week?
Should #12 remain the highest position that Rubberband Girl can reach? It fell
down to #14 this week. If it does not at least climb to 13 again, then Rocket Man
will have done better than Rubberband Girl.

Let's hope that it's not really already going down, but rather that the initial
wave of Katefans (also in/from the US) buying this record made the #12 position.

As a matter of fact MTV doesn't play descending videos in Hitlist UK, so maybe
last week's airing was the only one we'll ever see on MTV. I haven't seen it
inbetween. Can't someone 'remove' the music director of MTV?

Unfortunately the German charts are absolutely correlated with the crap that
MTV plays (most European MTV viewers reside in Germany), with the exception
of some German stuff that's really not worth mentioning at all.

I can't think of any hit in Germany in the past few years that wasn't on heavy
rotation on MTV. Let's see if Rubberband Girl enters the German top 100 this
week, last week it wasn't in there, but I think the German charts are delayed
about a week, so that's absolutely normal.

Bye,

Uli
