Subject: Counterparts - Straight Ahead

Hiya, today I received a letter from the Univercity of Pennsylvania. It contained the CD Straight Ahead from Counterparts, it contains a very nice a capella version of The Man With The Child In His Eyes. I'd say the vocal style reminds me a little bit of the Dark Orange version, but of course it's completely a capella. The comparison is only valid because these are the two most similar versions of The Man With... I know. Oh, and it certainly has an American accent... There are 17 songs on the CD, giving 47 minutes of good a capella music. Discography entry: Counterparts - Straight Ahead CP0003CD Contains an a capella cover version of "The Man With The Child In His Eyes" The only thing I wonder is why there ain't not a single credit to any of the 17 writers of the songs/lyrics neither on the CD nor in the booklet... Bye, Uli
