Maybe release will be on time?

I have a ray of hope!  I walked into an indie record store yesterday and
right on the front counter they had a stack of 8-1/2 X 11 slick color flyers for the album.  Front side shows the album cover, back side is a grey,
screened back mountain of fruit with a small photo of Kate in the center.
She is in a dancer's arms, leaning backwards and looking straight into the
camera.  POW.  Super.

Usual record company line about how exciting and wonderful the album is.

and then it says in giant letters "Available in record stores October 5."

The kids in the store didn't know when these flyers came in, so I have no idea
if it was before Columbia started to waffle on the date, or if they are more
recent.  Maybe they realized that if they waited until January it would be
too stupid.
