Who cares?) is this screening still on? I don't know yet - I was planning on calling the theatre within the next couple of days, hopefully I'll get a chance today. OK, I just called the Brattle, and they said that the movie had been postponed until January (Grrr!) I noticed when listening to "Candle in the Wind" on the Sony ETM CD single that it sounded much muddier and hissier (?) than I remembered it sounding on the "Rocket Man" EMI CD single. (Sorry, "Rocket Man" was on Mercury, not EMI) Anyways, the levels on the Sony copy are higher, and it's *possible* that there's more hiss, difficult to tell. It certainly seems sharper. -- =========================================================================== "And down the wave and in the flame was borne A naked babe..." -- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -- mark a. semich mas@csa.bu.edu ===========================================================================
