   Um, my point is that Kate heard an actress read the speech, rather
than reading the speech in the book. So, even though it is obviously
Molly's soliloquy from Joyce's Ulysses, Kate's *inspiration* was when
she *heard* the words, rather than when she *read* them. She read the
passage in the book later.
